Authors tell us a bit about every member of Martha’s team, leading to the point when the group discussion of the RFP takes place. They work as a team to come up with the best ideas for the board to approve their project. Board is described briefly, with some details of every board member’s appearance and background, as to underline the importance of each of them to the local community. The board has a short debate with Martha, questioning her regarding the future project, its possible outcomes, its benefits or potential damage to the financial welfare of the town. RFP finds both its supporters and opponents, but Martha eventually makes her position firm enough and reasonably proved. The board members have no other choice as to agree to this project.
