The good life is the one when you have done everything that you can to make things better and to provide a comfortable life for yourself and others. This means that you live not only for yourself but for others as well. Once a person realizes himself or herself as an individual, the need in designation of the framework and the way a person perceives, a world changes. The life, long or short, has its own sense for every person. This sense can be described in one sentence. The real or different perception of things is a way of life as it is. In this paper, on the example of my individual perception of reality, I will describe my life in one sentence and try to explain it.

Everyone’s life can be described in a short sentence. My sentence is: “Happiness is the main target of every person, and to get this feeling, you must help others”. This is not a motto but the way of seeing the life and its main purpose.

I regard myself as a person with a strong motivation to reach my target by helping others. The target is to become happy and retain this feeling during the whole life. This purpose is the main reason of an idea of giving. When you give something to others, you get much more in return. For example, in the Tale about the Fisher King, we see, that the fool who does not know anything but lives a simple life, helps king to reach the healing of happiness.

Dalai Lama, in his book “The Art of Happiness” says that money cannot buy happiness. Happiness can be reached by mental practices and spiritual values (Dalai Lama, 48). That is why, the main purpose of everyone’s life is to reach the feeling of happiness by giving and perceiving things as they are.
