This letter is to indicate the reasons of my application for changing the status of my currently held F2 visa to F1 visa. The primary purpose of my travel to the United States of America was to help my wife, who is currently studying in the United States of America, and to take care of our 5-month-old daughter, who is also here in the United States. My wife is in need of various types of help, from house chores to babysitting our daughter. Since I arrived in the country, I have been diligently fulfilling my mission, taking care of my girl and assisting my wife with housework and her English classes. While my wife was at school, I was taking care of our girl, preparing meals, cleaning the apartments and doing other chores. Having arrived in the United States of America, I gradually realized the importance and prospective advantages of the education that can be obtained here. The skills and qualifications which I can acquire in an American university can substantially help me in finding a well-paid job upon my arrival in Saudi Arabia. The labor market of my home country is saturated, but the one who possesses the diploma of a United States university is highly competitive and always receives the best job offers available on the market.
As far as my strategic plans are concerned, the ultimate goal is to return to my home country with the diploma from a US university. There, I will be able to find a well-paid job and guarantee financial, social and cultural well-being of my daughter and wife. Returning home is particularly important, as I want my child to be brought up in the traditional environment of my nation.
My studies and my stay in the United States of America are entirely financed by the government of Saudi Arabia. My application for scholarship was duly processed, and I have received one. The monetary funds obtained are sufficient to cover all expenses.
I am looking forward to your approval for my F1 status so I can complete my education at a University.
