Dear Sir or Madam!
This letter is to express our request to prolong the employment of Mr. Eugene Castillo on the position of the Head of Bureau of Natural and Environmental Resources, although he will reach the age of compulsory retirement on November 25, 2012 (65 years). Mr. Castillo has been occupying this position for more than 20 years and his experience and expertise allow him to perform his duties diligently and effectively. He has relevant experience, skills and qualifications that entirely correspond to the occupied position.
This request to extend his employment is dictated by the unavailability of the specialist of the same qualification capable of replacing Mr. Eugene Castillo. We have undertaken all available measures to substitute Mr. Castillo timely, before he will this age on November 24, 2012 , however all our efforts were fruitless. The contact to the Unemployment Service as well as the effective advertising campaign didn’t bring any positive results. A specialist of the same skills and qualification has not been found and hired yet. Naturally, our Human Resources department keeps on seeking the professional with the corresponding requirements who is both capable and willing to replace Mr. Eugene Castillo. In accordance with the provisions of the Labor Law, Mr. Eugene Castillo has been medically observed. The observing physician reported that he did not diagnose any medical contraindications. Mr. Eugene Castillo can effectively perform his duty without endangering his mental and physical health until a replacement is found, but no longer than 2 years with the obligatory annual medical examination.
While Mr. Eugene Castillo will be performing his duties, our Human Resources Department will seek a specialist of the similar expertise and corresponding qualifications. When the one is found, Mr. Eugene Castillo will retire immediately with all the benefits and privileges guaranteed to him under the law.
On the assumption of the provisions stated above and considering the provisions of the current Labor Law, we respectfully request to:
1) Certificate of Medical Observation of Mr. Eugene Castillo
2) Written Consent of Mr. Eugene Castillo
3) Filing Fee Confirmation
